Early integration. Looking ahead.

Prepare your digital services for SverigeID with Access

Introducing a new eID calls for a clear path to your services. Our integration work in Access aims to bring SverigeID into the platform where you manage authentication and federation. This provides a shared starting point for planning adoption and meeting the requirements of your services.

SverigeID in Access

We are building the new method into Access with the aim of making SverigeID part of your organisation’s sign-in solution.

OIDC federation support

Our integration work includes federation, addressing both sign-in and trust between participating organisations.

Start with your environment

We help you identify the services, existing connections and preparations needed for testing and adoption.

How it fits together

OIDC for sign-in. Federation for trust.

OpenID Connect (OIDC) handles sign-in. OpenID Federation establishes trust between participants through signed metadata and trust chains. This federation layer makes OIDC part of a shared ecosystem.

SverigeID is being developed by the Swedish Police Authority and will connect through Sweden Connect using OpenID Connect. An existing SAML connection therefore needs to be extended.
