For Sverige-id, we help you review your agreement under the Authorisation System and your Sweden Connect membership. We also help with the OpenID Connect integration and testing. If agreements or integrations are already in place, we review what can be reused.

Sverige-id integration
How do you connect Sverige-id to an e-service?
Sverige-id uses OpenID Connect through Sweden Connect. Fortified ID can act as the integration layer between Sweden Connect and your existing IAM, IdP and e-services, so every application does not need its own new integration.
Does Sverige-id require OpenID Connect?
Yes. The technical connection for Sverige-id is based on OpenID Connect through Sweden Connect.
Can we keep our existing IdP?
Often, yes. Fortified ID can bridge an existing identity environment to Sweden Connect instead of replacing the whole IAM platform.
What if our e-services use SAML?
An existing SAML environment can be complemented with an OIDC-capable integration layer for Sverige-id, reducing changes in individual e-services.
Can the same solution support several eIDs?
Yes. The objective is one managed connection where Sverige-id can coexist with alternatives such as BankID and Freja+.
What is the relationship between Sverige-id and Sweden Connect?
Sweden Connect provides the federation infrastructure used for the technical connection. The Authorisation System covers the administrative framework for eligible relying parties.
Can Fortified ID help with both agreements and technology?
Yes. We coordinate the administrative work, connection design, OIDC integration, testing and preparation for production.
